The brewing unit (infuser) can only be removed if the machine is completely turned "off" with no illuminated buttons. Please wait until the power button is completely off before pulling the drip tray forward and removing the brewing unit. If you can’t remove the brewing unit easily from the machine, please press the brewing unit back firmly in place. Then, place the drip tray back into the machine and allow it to complete the shutdown process. The brewing unit should now be easily removable from your machine.
No. We recommend only pulling the drip tray forward when the "ground container" alert is illuminated and the “brew” button stops blinking. Please ensure that every time you pull the drip tray forward, you empty the spent coffee grounds and rinse the water container, plus any water in the drip tray to avoid the containers overflowing inside the machine.
The water found inside the machine might be caused by water spilling from the internal rinse water container. To avoid this, please ensure that every time you pull the drip tray forward you empty the rinse water and spent coffee grounds containers, plus any water in the drip tray. This will ensure that the rinse water container doesn't overflow inside your TrueBrew.
When using the pre-ground function, ensure all the ground coffee added has fallen into the brewing unit as coffee grounds that remain inside the shoot might spill inside the machine without being brewed. To use this function, first select your desired size and pre-ground type from the control panel, then add your pre-ground coffee and press “brew”. If the “brew” button is flashing, press it again to start brewing. Please refer to your user manual for the number of scoops of pre-ground coffee to use for each drink size.
