If the descaling light stays on, that means the descaling process might have been carried out too quickly or that some necessary step was skipped, preventing the machine from recognising and recording the descaling process.
- In that case, the following steps should solve the issue:
Fill the water tank up to the minimum level (B) and start the descaling cycle - Once finished, fill the tank again with fresh water to the maximum level marked on the tank (it will be almost full then) and turn the steam knob to | until the steam light starts blinking; the rinsing cycle will begin
- Some models will require a third step, corresponding to the second rinsing cycle, to be performed following the same procedure (tank filled to the MAX level with fresh water)
If- despite this procedure- the descaling light stays on, please contact the nearest Service Center.
