There is still the same level of parameters (13) but as the grinders are electronically controlled and offer greater precision, they automatically change by 0.5 level each time you increase or decrease the grinder setting. The benefit is not manually adjusting yourself while the grinder is in operation and the greater control over the fineness of grind.
