My dehumidifier is not collecting water. Why is this?

• Check that your set humidity level is lower than the current humidity level this can be found on the units display after being plugged in and turned on
• On units without a digital display, set the humidistat to the lowest setting.
• Be sure the room you are trying to dehumidify has moisture in the air to collect this can be done by running the unit in another room that is warmer.
• A low temperature in the room can affect the amount of moisture in the air thus resulting in a room with a higher humidity level but without moisture to collect.
