Yes, all La Specialista coffee machines, have energy-saving features.
You can enable the ""Energy Saving"" function to comply with European regulations, which reduces both boiler temperature and display light.
Additionally, you can set the ""Auto-off"" mode to automatically switch off the machine after 9 minutes, 1.5 hours, or 3 hours, further conserving energy.
The machine is designed to deliver the correct brewing pressure based on your chosen coffee beans. When brewing, the indicator level should be within the optimal zone range. When the pressure indicator falls significantly below the optimal zone, this indicates an under extracted espresso and requires a finer grinding adjustment. If the indicator level moves way past the optimal zone, this indicates an over extracted espresso and usually requires a coarser grind. Please note: - Your dosing level (volume of ground coffee) should always reach the ring inside the filter basket. Once this level is achieved, the only adjustment you should make to change extraction pressure is the one of Grinding Size on the gringer. - Different coffee bean types may require different adjustments in order to achieve the optimal zone reading. Remember, as long as the indicator level resides in that zone you are performing a great extraction.
Yes, all La Specialista series allow you to program the drink quantity of each selectable beverage available on the control panel.
