Your coffee machine will alert you when it’s time for a descale. You should complete the cycle when prompted, to avoid your coffee tasting bitter and to improve energy efficiency.
Descaling only takes 30 minutes, and remember to be patient throughout the cycle. Do not turn off your machine during the cycle.
