​The La Specialista Maestro does have dual heating systems. Although you cannot do these actions together there is no wait time in switching over from coffee to milk or vice versa. By having dual heating systems the temperature is accurate and stable for each function and we have not sacrificed the quick heat up time of 35 seconds for the machine to be ready. Note the grinder can be activated at the same time as steaming milk so you are ready to brew as soon as milk is finished.
