I chicchi di caffè De’Longhi vengono coltivati seguendo linee guida dei tre principi “buono, pulito ed equo”, nella piantagione di Finca Rio Colorado, parte del Las Capucas Sustainable Village.

Questa Slow Food Community è stata istituita nel 2021 e ha sede a Las Capucas, municipalità di San Pedro de Copán, a ovest dell’Honduras. Essa mira a garantire la commercializzazione di caffè di buona qualità e a generare introiti economici per le famiglie di produttori di caffè impegnati nell’ambiente e in una sostenibilità produttiva, offrendo loro valori Slow Food.

L’alta qualità dei chicchi è stata testata dall’esperto di caffè Andrej Godina, in base ai criteri della Specialty Coffee Association. Diverso, naturale, essenziale: preparati per un caffè unico nel suo genere.

This journey is our commitment to empowering coffee lovers to make more responsible coffee choices by giving greater insight into the people and processes along the coffee value chain.

Thanks to our partnership with Slow Food Coffee Coalition, we aim to support the activities of coffee producers and empower farmers by increasing consumer knowledge of their best practices and their commitment to producing good, clean and fair coffee.

The Slow Food Coffee Coalition is an international open and collaborative network, uniting all the participants involved in the coffee supply chain, from farmers to consumers. It also supports the creation of a Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) to identify Good, Clean and Fair Coffee.
